A merchant may temporarily put an authorization hold for an amount until the transaction is completed, aborted, or the hold expires. During temporary authorization, the funds available in your account are reduced by the hold amount. Authorization holds can range anywhere from 1-8 business days after the transaction date. Holds such as hotel stays and car rentals may have a longer hold time.
The hold is placed by the merchant and only the merchant can release the hold. Suvi has no option to release the hold. Please contact the merchant to release the hold. You will see the hold amount in the pending transaction section of your Suvi Checking Account transactions.
