How do I make a deposit into my Suvi account and when are the funds available?

You can start using your account as soon as you can sign in. You can deposit into your Suvi account in the following ways:

  1. Direct Deposit: The best way to fund and make a deposit to your Suvi account is via direct deposit of your payroll or government benefits. Please see the “Direct Deposit” section for more details. Funds are available up to 2 days early.
  2. Funds transfer initiated from an external account: You can transfer funds directly from your external bank account to Suvi. There is no hold period for funds, so transferred funds are available for transaction on receipt by Suvi. Funds are available as soon as we receive them, usually within 1-3 business days of initiating the transfer.
  3. Funds transfer initiated from a Suvi account: You can also initiate a bank transfer by linking an external bank account to your Suvi account. Please note, for your account safety, any funds transferred are held for 5 days from the initiation date of the transfer.
  4. Mobile check deposits: You can deposit checks on the go with mobile check deposit. Please see “Can I deposit a check to my Suvi Checking Account?” for more details.
  5. Cash deposits at retail locations: You can deposit cash into your Suvi Account at over 80,000 retail locations (such as Walmart, Walgreens, and 7-Eleven). Please request a cashier to make a deposit to your Suvi account at the register. Third-party money transfer services that are used to add funds to your Suvi account may impose their own fees or limits. Please see “Can I deposit cash?” for more details.
